Description
RectorDecryptor – the Trojan-Ransom.Win32.Rector malware is used by scammers to unauthorizedly modify data on the victim computer in such a way as to make it impossible to work with them or block normal computer operation. After the data is “taken hostage” (blocked), the user is asked for a ransom. The victim must transfer the amount announced in the request to the attacker, after which the attacker promises to send a program to restore data or normal operation of the computer.
