Description
USB Lockit is a simple application to protect data on a USB flash drive. It blocks access with a password, without which it cannot be opened. Thus, you will protect your data from strangers and in case of loss of the device.
Simple and fast flash drive lock
To protect your flash drive, first of all, you need to make sure that it is formatted in FAT32. Next, you just need to copy the application files to the root of the flash drive and run it. For maximum protection, do not place the executable in folders.
After launching the application, you will be greeted by a red-colored interface. It means that the device is not protected. Set a six-digit password to activate protection. After setting the password, the device status will change to “LOCKED”, which can be seen in Windows Explorer. If you open a locked USB flash drive, then you will not see anything there except for the USB Lockit file. To unlock the device, launch the application and enter the password you set earlier.
