VyprVPN is a utility that allows you to access the Internet through remote servers, thereby protecting your personal data and gaining access to blocked websites. It includes a long list of servers around the world that you can connect to in a couple of clicks.
Program Features
The program has a compact, clear interface that displays the name and location of the server, current IP address, connection duration, available VPN protocols, and a graph of connection speed changes.
VyprVPN supports multiple data transfer protocols and different encryption algorithms. You can choose from Chameleon (256-bit encryption), OpenVPN, L2TP/IPsec, and PPTP. Each protocol has its own characteristics, for example Chameleon masks the VPN connection, which prevents providers from detecting and blocking it.
The program sits in the system tray most of the time and can automatically connect to a specific server at system startup. It notifies you of connections and disconnections with the help of pop-up notifications and sound signals.
